GOAL!

My Dad got a new job at his work about a year ago. He used to be an engineer, well he still is but a different kind. He's an international salesman but he also does things that do with engineering. He doesn’t always go to different places around the world but I think he is going to China again in October. Since he goes there quite a few times a year he can buy things that my brothers and I want because, everything in China is cheap there. My little brother, Connor, loves soccer jerseys so my dad buys them, except last time the store didn’t have many clothes because an important person from Beijing was there,(my dad was in Shanghai). If there are things that my brothers and I didn’t want, but my dad thought that thing was cool, such as movies, he would buy them.

So one time my dad was walking though the halls of a mall in cheap China. He usually buys movies for us to watch yet he never watches them. One time he bought a movie called "GOAL!". I personally think that it is the best movie in the world and everyone should watch it. The reason I watched was for multiple reasons. One of the reasons was because my favorite kind of movies are obviously sports movies because I play sports a lot. Another reason I wanted to watch the movie was because it was a really hot summer day and I had nothing to do..turns out it was a great movie.

When my dad first told me he got a new job and he was going to travel around the world, I was thinking, "O great, now he will never see any of my soccer or basketball games." I never really thought of my dad going to China to buy our family clothes and movies. If the movies didn’t cost 1.99 in Chinese money he probably wouldn't of bought them for us. Overall I'm kind of mad and glad that he got his new job.
