Do you know what makes soccer the greatest sport in the world? At first I didn’t know, but after my PowerPoint and research, I finally found out. All you need is a few supplies to play the game. If you want to learn when soccer first got played, I’ll tell you. Soccer is also a very easy sport to play but do you know why? I’ll tell you that too. Everyone should play soccer because it’s the most popular sport in the world.

Since there are very few supplies you need to play soccer, everyone should play it. All you need is two goals to score on, a leather or rubber ball. For protection you would need to have shin guards. For better grip on the ground you need cleats. Finally there needs to be space like at a park of somewhere. After you have all of the supplies you are ready to play soccer.

Do you know the history behind soccer and when it was first played? There was evidence of soccer first being played in the 2nd and 3rd centuries B.C. in China. The people of China dribbled a leather ball around and to score they had to shoot the ball into a little goal. On December 8, 1863, rugby and soccer split into two different sports. Soccer consisted of no shin kicking, tripping, and carrying of the ball. Now that you know all these interesting facts about soccer, you can tell your friends.

Soccer is also a very simple game to play. It’s easy because if you roll a ball to a toddler they will pick the ball up and try to throw it. But after a while they will kick the ball and it’ll go farther, so then they will kick the ball from then on. Since they now know the ball goes further when they kick the ball, they would like to play soccer because you have to kick the ball during the game. Soccer is also easy because there are usually no set plays.
