Adopt Him

As Roger was walking down the dark streets of his hometown, he met a special someone on his way there. This special someone wasn’t the person he really wanted to meet but he was too tired to run away. “Hey do you have a mother or father, you aren’t allowed to be walking the streets at this time,” yelled the police officer. Roger replied with a simple nope. After the police officer took Roger to the mall to finish buying his new shoes, the police man took something into consideration. He thought that maybe he should adopt Roger since he has no parents. When the police officer and his wife finished up talking about adopting Roger, they announced to Roger that they would like to adopt him.

Roger’s life was pretty screwed up considering that he had no parents and was trying to steal other people’s possessions. But it soon changed when he met his future Dad working as a police officer. I predicted that he would get adopted based on text evidence. “Ain’t you got nobody home to tell you to wash your face?” When Roger replied with no, I knew that he had no family. I made an inference that he could get adopted because of that. I believe that my prediction could definitely be true.
