New Neighbor

My family and I live on the lake and there are almost no other kids that are my friends that live on the lake too. I have two friends that live on the lake. One is Ryan Horning and the other is Nick Weiber but they both go to St. Anthony's School. I have been waiting for anyone that would go to our school to move in. Finally, after like five years, someone is about to move in. I think even if you only have one friend that goes to school with you, you can still hang out and have just as much fun rather than having ten friends.

The new family that is moving in has six people in their family. There is a kid named Chapman and he is shy six-teen year old. There is also a kid Parker and he is twelve years old. I am most excited for Parker because he his my age. He also plays soccer and was the captain of his team last year. The third kid is named Carson and he is seven years old. Finally, Jade is the only girl in their family. I don't know how old she is but she was adopted from China. Their family used to live in Illinois. Parker is coming to our school on the day that we get back from Christmas Break although he is moving in tomorrow. I texted him and asked if he wanted to go to the final varsity game in the old gym. He said he had to talk to his parents to see if he could go. Parker plays soccer and a little bit of basketball. He was on the "B" team for basketball last year. I think he will be a great addition to our soccer team in the spring, but first our coach has to see him play. He also plays trumpet and will probably play in the band. His mom talked to my mom and he also skis so he will be in ski club. I can't wait to meet him!

Since there are some kids that only have one friend that goes to their school, they can still as much fun rather than a person with five people. I think I will hangout with Parker a lot and we will enjoy playing things outside and inside.
